I like my 116800 Yacht Master II. Yes it’s a 44mm watch so it’s huge, and you either love it or hate it’s looks. The regatta timer complication is special but not useful for most people (I’ve actually forgotten how to use it). This got me to thinking about a lot of Rolexes offerings, and brought me around to the idea that the Yacht-Master II, no matter how niche a complication, no matter how specific, no matter how big, no matter how ridiculous - Might be one of my favorite models - And I’m not just saying that because I didn’t actually make the purchase.The Rolex Yacht-Master II dial layout is stunning, sophisticated, and totally different than any of the other Rolex dials due to its niche complication.
